Soldiers injured during a special operation will be able to receive new specializations after rehabilitation.
MOSCOW, August 12 – RIA Novosti. The Russian Ministry of Defense told reporters on Friday that soldiers injured during a special military operation in Ukraine will be provided with modern prosthetics, will be able to undergo rehabilitation and acquire new specialties.
Today it is in the rehabilitation and training center on the basis of a branch of the military hospital. AA Vishnevsky, military personnel awarding ceremony was held in Moscow, in addition, certificates for new specialties, state awards and housing certificates were awarded.
“Modern prostheses are selected, manufactured and adjusted for each of you to restore lost functions. A training is given on their use. An individual rehabilitation program is being developed for each of you, what measures will be taken accordingly? To protect and, if necessary, replace the prosthesis”, – Ana Military Major General Alexander Sergoventsev, deputy head of the Medical Directorate. As stated in the military unit, new specializations received at the training center will allow wounded soldiers to continue their service in new military positions in Ministry of Defense organizations.
Retraining of military personnel is only one of the areas of a comprehensive program approved by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, aimed at the social rehabilitation of wounded military personnel.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, decided to provide for the possibility of further military service for all military personnel injured during a special military operation.
