MOSCOW, September 5 – RIA Novosti. The Foreign Ministry said two diplomatic mission workers were killed in an explosion near the Russian embassy in Kabul.
Afghan security forces launched an investigation. Earlier, an RIA Novosti source said the incident occurred when the diplomat stood in line to announce the visa candidates.
According to the preliminary data of the agency’s interlocutor, 15-20 people were injured.
In August 2021, the Taliban * captured Kabul and announced the end of the war with government forces. On the night of August 31, the US military left the Kabul airport, ending nearly 20 years of US military presence in Afghanistan.
