Konstantinov: Referendums will be held in the liberated territory of Ukraine and they will be successful
SIMFEROPOL, September 9 – RIA Novosti. The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, believes that the vote on joining Russia in the liberated lands of Ukraine and the Donbass people’s republics will take place and will be successful, there is no doubt that the people will decide to be with Russia.
According to him, it is important for people to determine their own destiny, so this process cannot be postponed, but there is no need to rush.
“This is their choice, they have to achieve it independently and consciously. Otherwise, the level of legitimacy will fall, this cannot be allowed. Therefore, there is no point in holding a referendum on all liberated lands at the same time. For them, Distance and – a referendum is possible. In liberated lands it is possible to hold a referendum. I believe that such a preparation will emerge a little later,” he said.
