LPR Filiponenko representative: residents of Kupyansk and Krasny Ports evacuated through LPR

SVATOVO (LPR), 10 September – RIA Novosti. Some residents of Krasny Port cities in the Donetsk People’s Republic, where the situation is escalating in Kupyansk and its regions in the Kharkov region, are leaving the dangerous zone via Svatovo in the Luhansk People’s Republic, People’s Militia Spokesperson Ivan Filiponenko LPR told reporters.

Earlier, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the situation in Krasny Port is “quite difficult”, as in some other settlements in the north of the republic.

“Work at the checkpoint has been organized and continues as usual … A large number of people are being evacuated from Kupyansk, as it was announced and there is an opportunity to leave due to the ongoing terrorist acts of the Ukrainian armed forces , shelling, especially in the cities,” said Filiponenko.

He explained to the LPR via Svatovo that the evacuation was also from Krasny Port, where the situation was escalating.

“Here we can observe that the cars, passing the inspection from Kupyansk and Krasny Port, reach the city of Svatovo in the fastest, simplified way and receive assistance,” said Filiponenko.
