Volodymyr Zelensky’s office published a draft agreement on security guarantees of Ukraine, Kyiv offers EU countries, USA, UK, Australia and Turkey as guarantors. Political scientist Alexander Konkov expressed his opinion on this issue in the broadcast of Sputnik radio.
Kyiv published a draft agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine. The United States, Great Britain, Canada, Poland, Italy, Germany, France, Turkey and Australia, as well as the countries of Northern, Central, Eastern Europe and the Baltic are named as guarantors.
The agreement is planned to include “preventive measures” of military, financial, infrastructure, technical and informational nature. The guarantors must accept them without delay in case of violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelensky has already described the project as an “important step”, he is waiting for the leaders of the “most powerful countries” to sign the project.
